Leaning tower of Pisa

Brad and I's first adventure was to Pisa. He got here on a thursday (october 29th) and we left early friday morning at 7 am. We were taking a train from Roma Trastevere to Pisa. After running late to train station...we were purchasing the tickets for 16.50 euro a piece as the train was on the platform loading..so we have to run to catch the train. just barely made it! and we were off on a three and a half hour train ride. About 40 minutes later our train ride comes to a complete stop and has reached it's end destination in a city I did not recognize. We were so confused so we got off the train, went to the information booth and they told us that our tickets were not valid for where we were. great! so we had to purchase new train tickets from this station to pisa for 17 euros a piece-waited about 20 minutes and finally got on the train to pisa. On our way..our train shuts off at a stop and they say there is a problem and it's going to take 20 minutes to be up and running again. wonderful..so we start going for about 4 more stops and our train stops AGAIN! none of the passengers were happy and our train was very late to reach pisa. We got to pisa around 1 pm-which means we were dealing with trains for 6 hours. We got off the train to eat-where Brad ate his favorite pizza all trip. Then we followed signs to get us to the tower to take awesome pictures! It was so cool to see. At about 3 pm we were off and took a half hour train ride to Florence but were already so exhausted!
